That’sss a Nice Pedicure

Beauty

The new snakeskin mani/pedi craze is leaving me thinking three things.

1. That’s really disgusting.

2. This is what is wrong with America.

3. That’s a great looking pedicure…

Terri Silacci, manicurist to the stars, uses naturally shed and disinfected snakeskin to create an unique manicure or pedicure that will definitely not go unnoticed.

A part of me thinks that wearing another animals old skin on your nails is really disgusting. I don’t think I could ever get the manicure. If I ever had to put my finger in my mouth it would be like…well, no….it would be putting snakeskin in my mouth. (EW!) But the pedicure…now that’s a cool looking pedicure.

The pedicure can also last up to 12 weeks, and the manicure up to 3. The price can range from $150-$300, but if you’re into nail trends the pedicure could be worth the money. I can’t decide if I love it or hate it…I know I hate the manicure but the pedicure could go either way!

The mani/pedi was featured on The Today Show…watch here.

Ombrélicious

Beauty

With springtime coming and my hair growing brassier by the minute, I decided that it’s time for a hair appointment.

I’ve been DYING (no pun intended) to try out the Ombré look, also known as color streaming. Drew Barrymore and Sarah Jessica Parker are among the celebrities who have been seen sporting the look.

Drew Barrymore

Color streaming is effortlessly sexy, and it’s a great money saver if you can only afford a salon trip 2-3 times a year.

Sarah Jessica Parker

I never thought I’d say this but there’s something so glamorous and rich looking about roots (when done the right way.) Currently, my roots are quite the contrary, but hopefully with a little help, I’ll be Ombrélicious by the time Friday night rolls around.
