Best of the Emmys 2010

Fashion, Style

I am so excited for the Emmys next weekend that I just couldn’t wait to ogle the dresses.  I had to go back to the files to reminisce on my favorite dresses of 2010.  I couldn’t pick a single favorite so I narrowed it down to the top 5 best dresses of the evening.

January Jones in Atelier Versace

Some people disliked this, but I am pretty obsessed with it.  You’ve got to give the girl some credit.  It takes balls to wear a dress like this (not literal balls…clearly.)  She had to wear something amazing to top her dress from 2009:

I can’t WAIT to see what she’s wearing!

Claire Danes in Giorgio Armani Privé

I really love this whole look.  It’s so classically beautiful, and at the same time has a modern, fresh look to it.  Perfection.

Eva Longoria in Robert Rodriguez

This is so chic.  I love the details.  It elevates what would be an ordinary (but still beautiful) black strapless gown and makes it something different and eye catching.  I also love the bare décalotage…a necklace would have been too much.  Love you Eva!

Maria Menounos in Ralph & Russo

The back of this dress is stunning:

The red lip, hair…everything all works so well together.  This dress is the perfect balance of skin baring sexiness and elegant chicness.  Love, love, love.

Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta

Navy can sometimes look bleak or boring, but on Lea Michelle the color really pops.  Maybe it’s the tan, maybe it’s the hair…who knows.  Regardless, I love this look.  She’s radiating chic elegance.  Can’t wait to see her this year…she always looks amazing!

Check back soon for my picks of the 2011 Emmys Best and Worst Dressed.
