DVF Dress with Nikita Cat Eye Tom Fords

I have loved Kourtney Kardashian‘s cat eye sunglasses from the moment I saw them.  Here she is wearing the Nikita by Tom Ford along with her fab riding boots:

I decided to pair the amazing frames with this Aztec-ish, DVF, body hugging dress.  A fun way to mix things up is by pairing simple, streamline dresses like this one, with very structured accessories.  The jacket is called the “long blazer” implying structure in it’s name.  It works well with the dress because of the contrast.  I like that when you take the coat off your shape looks that much more amazing because nobody was expecting it.

This clutch is amazing and very architectural.  It pairs very well with the color blocked Louboutins.  The earrings add the perfect, face framing pop of color.  If you’re not a fan of color swap them out for something a little bit more understated (but how could you not like these?!)  This outfit is very New York.  Love it!

InStyle Ventures Into the Kardashian Klosets

I just picked up the September issue of InStyle magazine…talk about inspiration!  Beyoncé, one of my all time favorite divas, was on the cover wearing one of my obsessions, a sequined Dolce and Gabbana star studded dress: amazing.

I highly advise you pick up this extra large issue.  Not only for fall fashion inspiration, but also to get an exclusive peak inside all 3 of the Kardashian sisters’ closets.  Here’s a look at each:

Kim‘s Kloset:

Kourtney‘s Kloset:

Khloe‘s Kloset

I had to stop reading this article in public due to my drooling…how AMAZING are these klosets?!

I’m telling you, this issue is definitely worth the $5 it costs…it’s a whomping 637 pages of fierce fall fashion.  Pick one up!!!

Little Blue Dress in Luxury

I loved Kourtney Kardashian‘s blue dress at the Teen Choice Awards. She wore a Blaque Label Sweetheart Chiffon Dress, and didn’t she look fab?

Here’s an example of how to wear the new LBD: the Little Blue Dress:

1. TIBI Draped Dress $297

2. Gucci 1973 Shoulder Bag $795

3. LANA Blake Bar Earrings $780

4. Pamela Love 7 Crystal Cuff $495

5. Fiona Paxton Dakotah Ring $160

6. Theyskens’ Theory Patent-Leather Wedges $465

Olivier Theyskens was asked to design a collection for Theory and these amazing wedges (6.) were born. I’m obsessed with all of them but the patent-leather and suede ombré’s have to be my favorite…I mean, look at these!
Speechless……..The ankle straps are even removable:
In the words of my favorite stylist…I die.  (For those of you who don’t get this reference…please watch The Rachel Zoe Project.  The new season starts September 6th.  Do yourself a favor and tune in.)  It’s bananas.
Come back tomorrow for how to wear the little blue dress in reality!

Obsessed: These D&G Sunglasses

I was casually strolling through the mall when these beautiful Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses caught my eye:

Of course I had to try them on. Turns out they are the perfect sunglasses and my new obsession. They’re the sunglasses that make you look chic, without making you look like you’re trying to look chic.

They’re a little pricey, coming in at $339, but Edel Optics is selling them for $270 (saving you almost $70.)

Kourtney Kardashian recently blogged about her obsession with her new Oliver Peoples sunglasses that are nearly identical to these D&G’s.

“I think they are so fun and different!” she said about her shades. “I had to have them, I think they can totally MAKE an outfit!”

I totally agree Kourt, except my shades of choice will be D&G…no offense Oli, I’ve just got Dolce on the mind!
