I’ve used this color palate of burgundy and mustard before, but never for evening wear. I absolutely LOVE this Marchesa cocktail dress. It’s very structural but the cutout fabric softens it. Sleek accessories, like the patent clutch and the YSL pumps, compliment the dress perfectly.
The lines hit the body in the perfect place to give you a little extra oomph in the hourglass department. The pleating at the waist is very flattering on women who have more of a straight figure.
The earrings and ring may be a little out there for some, but I love the combination with the dress! I think it adds some playfulness. If you’re not a fan you can easily swap them out for a pair of big diamond (or CZ) studs or some beautiful drop earrings.
